Produce Chinese-Style Wood Door Using a CNC Router Machine
This case study explores the application of CNC wood routers for manufacturing Chinese‑style wooden doors. It classifies mainstream door types including solid wood doors, engineered composite doors, flat‑panel doors and carved decorative doors, and analyzes the processing difficulties brought by complex relief, open‑work lattice and strict symmetrical aesthetic requirements of traditional Chinese‑style doors. The article details how CNC equipment completes cutting, mortise‑and‑tenon milling, relief carving, hollow‑out lattice processing and side hole machining. It covers the full production workflow: raw material selection, moisture‑content pretreatment, CAD pattern import, parameter setting, CNC modeling, sanding, surface finishing and final assembly. Compared with pure manual carving, CNC wood routers realize standardized pattern replication, improve batch‑production consistency, lower labor cost, and deliver practical production guidance for wooden‑door factories producing antique & oriental‑style interior doors。
