Production Process of Ceramic Gong Fu Teaware

Premium Porcelain Clay

This is the most authentic white porcelain clay. It is the kaolin that is most commonly used in our porcelain production. Essentially, every piece of our porcelain is crafted with this exceptional porcelain clay, which is also the most widely utilized clay in our manufacturing process.

Handcrafted

Each cup is carefully shaped by skilled artisans using traditional hand-throwing techniques. Artisans place a lump of clay onto a pottery wheel and shape it gently by hand, forming the cup with precision and care. Every piece is uniquely formed, giving it an authentic, artisanal character.

Cup Forming

After being carefully shaped by hand, this lump of clay has been skillfully crafted into an elegant art cup.

Production Workshop

These ceramic products are semi-finished products. We place them on wooden shelves to dry.

Glaze The Cup

This master is glazing the cup. This way, the cup can be made smoother and achieve the color you want.

Redy To Fire

These finished teapots are ready to be put into the kiln and fired at a high temperature of 1350 degrees Celsius. This can make ceramics become healthier.

Check Quality

This master is carefully checking whether there are quality problems with the product to avoid the fired ceramics not meeting the quality standards.

Heritage of Artisanal Ceramics

Chinese ceramics boast a long history and are renowned worldwide for their exquisite white porcelain. Crafted with meticulous techniques, our ceramic products are exported far and wide. As early as the Song and Yuan dynasties, they became a key export commodity, reaching the pinnacle of craftsmanship during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Known for their pure white hue, delicate texture, and jade-like luster, they are celebrated as "China White."
